Important Part of Spiritual Practice

Recently someone asked me, “what is the most important thing you do in your spiritual practice and why?”

Each person has obviously a very unique way they maneuver on the road to growth. I have stayed inquisitive about existence and question the why of everything. The constant questioning has led me to unravel many of the mysteries of who am I and why am I here and what is this Earth thing? Even tho I no longer have deep desires to know many things, because these questions have been answered, I continue to ponder in my way further out into realms where my human brain has trouble holding on.

The inner pondering, or internal research as I call it, has broadened my perspective tenfold. In the past, the answers out there to life’s riddles from others seemed full of holes and misnomers, and so I worked at solving these riddles for myself, with the help of my higher self. Don’t listen to other’s who tell you it is impossible to know such things and maybe for them it is. If there are questions to something which pull at you for answers, keep at it until that answer is fulfilled and you feel satiated and at peace.

I have written other articles on ways to communicate with one’s higher self, so I won’t go into this at this time. I will say, the relationship with our higher self and to be able to open up the connection and practice communication with Self, is vital for our growth. I urge all to nurture this relationship so you can make the most of it in this life as it will significantly enhance and speed up one’s spiritual growth. Whatever baby steps, we can take in this direction is worth our efforts.

Would you like to know why I picked this May photo of the lilacs, for this August post? Because this is the image, my higher self told me she wanted to use today. This is the only reason! I practice being at her command at all times. Compared to the whole of existence, my human self is like that little drop of water on the flower in the photo. And the only desire this drop has is to merge itself with the whole of who I am. May Oneness be yours today.
